How to Install faac software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

faac software package provides AAC audio encoder (frontend), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install faac

faac is installed in your system.

Make ensure the faac package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep faac *

You will get with faac package name, version, architecture and description in a table
